Fujitsu Fi 6130Z Scanner Download4/15/2021
Scanner-- you should see device list, choose PaperStream IP fi-6130Z scanner--Select.It absolutely refuses to be recognized by the workstation that its hard-wired to.
The workstation that its connected to is brand new (the old one was outdated and was replaced a week ago). At this point Im at a loss for ideas on what to try next since it worked on the previous machine without issue. Also, Im not at all proficient at troubleshooting printers, scanners, or copiers so that probably doesnt help me any. You will need to download the software (full suite) or use the disk that came with the scanner. Fujitsu Fi 6130Z Scanner Install The TwainOnce you have that (leave the scanner disconnected), install the twain and isis drivers. Also go ahead and install the scandall pro software (its pretty good). Once all of that is installed, reboot and connect the scanner. Arp matches mac address to ip address and the printer has a new mac with the same ip. When trying to ping it looks up the mac in the arp table and sees the old mac address. I read somewhere online that the FI-6130s dont agree with 3.0. That may not be true but I tried anyway just to rule it out. The scanner and cable are both only a couple months old and both worked on the previous machine less than a day prior. Do you know how I could go about uninstalling those drivers (where they are located) so that I can try a fresh install of the scanner and software I feel like I should mention that I work at a hospital and this issue is on the reception PC. So I cant really just wipe it and start over or I would have. Haha. As for down in the Notification Area, I did get a notification that windows failed to install the devices driver whenever I plug it in. Try just deleting those devices out of the device manager and then refreshing and see if you can get to prompt you for where the driver is. You could also try right clicking the device and trying the troubleshoot option. For future reference, for USB devices, you almost always install the software first. I remember always installing software prior to plug-in but I guess I just got spoiled by newer plug-n-play devices recently.
